How to Use Hits-Connect and Clickbank Tracking with Secrets of the Big Dogs to Triple Your Sales!
Track Your E-Mail/Affiliate Ads More Accurately!
I want to share with you how I have been tracking my ads more accurately using Hits-Connect and Clickbank!
I used to only use my tracking software (like Hits Connect) but now I also
use Clickbank tracking with it.
Of course, this can only be used with information products from Clickbank.
It is a little more involved but the benefit is worth it.
Know Directly Where your Sale was Made
Perhaps you didn’t know you can further track your ad through your
Clickbank URL (by placing an ID on the end of the URL).
This tracking strategy allows you to know directly where your sale was
made; from a mailer, banner, login ad, or any other kind of ad (it all
depends on which kind of ads you want to track). You can also track
which ad produced the sale and what the subject line was if you want.
[if you are a complete newbie, I don’t recommend you get involved with
this yet. Just file this and when you start making regular sales, take it
out of your file and use it for your benefit. In fact, if you’re not yet
making any sales, you should also file this for later].
Three Easy Steps!
Here is how it works:
1. Keep a FILE of the ads you write. Include the subject line, hits
results: (I designate them, GOOD, BAD or SO-SO), number of sales,
month and week.
2. Instead of making a Hits Connect tracker URL for every chip, make
one tracker for all your big dog chips (for other mailers I made a separate
URL tracker even though you advertise big dogs with them) . So when you go
to your mailers, just add a four letter code to the end of each one that
represents that particular mailer.
This is an example:
http://www.trker.com/go/000000 at the end add a code like this;
/HERC10FSL
/HERC10FSL = (HERC) HercuList, (10) 10th month of the year, (FSL = Family
Still Laughing) first letter of the first three words in this subject line example.
Example 2:
/MIST10FSL
/MIST10FSL = (MIST) Mister Safelist, (10) 10th month of the year, (FSL)
first letter of the first three words in your subject line.
3. Then for your destination URL (big dogs sale page) you can add a code
to your Clickbank URL which you save in your Hits Connect trackers. For
each TYPE (bdchip mailer, login, solo, Etc) of ad you want to track you
would place your code at the end.
Example:
http://YOURCLICKBANKID.bigdogs.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=0102_oct_2019_bdchip
Below is an example of the codes I use at the end of my Clickbank URL:
0101_oct_2019_domain (is my website)
0101_oct_2019_bdchip (is big dog chip)
0101_oct_2019_login (is my login ads)
0101_oct_2019_solo (solo ads)
0101_oct_2019_ncsm (non-chip safelist mailer)
———–
Complete URL example:
http://www.trker.com/go/000000/0102_oct_2019_solo
With the code above, all your solo ads will be tracked. 01 = the first week of the
month, 02 = the second subject line I’ve used this week for the example ad.
October 2019 is self explanatory. And solo represents my solo ads because
I put them all on the same Hits Connect tracker.
It’s not really that complicated; but if you have questions, feel free to send me a
message. Also; below is a link to Clickbank were you can learn more about using
their Clickbank Analytics Reporting:
I hope this helps with your tracking and have a great day!

PS-enjoy the journey!
